KIA STONIC ‘QUANTUM’ SPECIAL EDITION REVEALED WITH REVISED STONIC LINE-UP

  • Kia UK reveals Stonic ‘Quantum’ special edition, with unique two-tone exterior paint, and yellow-highlight interior

The ever-popular Kia Stonic grade line-up has been updated, including the launch of a new special edition Stonic ‘Quantum’.

Customers can now choose from five trim grades: ‘2’, ‘GT-Line’, ‘Quantum’, ‘3’, and ‘GT-Line S’, making the model consistent with other Kia models.

Automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) is now available across all grades excepting the special edition Stonic ‘Quantum’, while 48V Mild Hybrid technology is now available on the ‘3’ and ‘GT-Line S’.

Stonic ‘Quantum’ special edition

Sitting at the heart of the Stonic line-up, the ‘Quantum’ is designed to offer maximum value to customers. It offers a comprehensive list of standard features and equipment, combined with an affordable purchase price of just £21,600 on-the-road, and is available to order now from Shell Motors with deliveries now.

Sharing the same on-the-road price as the Stonic ‘GT-Line’, the ‘Quantum’ is powered exclusively by a 99bhp 1.0-litre T-GDi via a six-speed manual gearbox. Separating the two grades and instead of ‘GT-Line’ styling, the ‘Quantum’ is equipped with heated front seats, heated steering wheel, smart key with engine start/stop, rain-sensing front wipers and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

Standard features on the ‘Quantum’ also include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, reversing camera, 8.0-inch touchscreen navigation system with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, privacy glass, front fog lights and bi-function projection headlights, and LED rear combination lights. It also features driver assist technologies which are standard across the whole Stonic line-up, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (City/Pedestrian/Cyclist), Hill-Start Assist Control, Lane Keeping Assist System, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Electronic Stability Control with Vehicle Stability Management, and Manual Speed Limit Assist.

The ‘Quantum’ model comes in a single bold and beautiful two-tone colour scheme, with a Storm Grey body and contrasting yellow roof. Inside, the cabin is finished with new black cloth and grey faux leather seats with yellow inserts, as well as a yellow interior package that lifts the cabin with further colourful highlights.
