The Kia EV3 and the Kia EV9 have been recognised with two prestigious awards at the annual Great British Fleet Awards, hosted by Fleet World.
The EV3, Kia’s latest fully electric car and one of Britain’s best-selling EVs, was named ‘Best EV Small SUV’. The current 2025 UK Car of the Year and 2025 World Car of the Year offers fleet customers zero-emission motoring and up to 375 miles on a single charge*. This is the longest range possible within Kia’s electric vehicle line-up, in the most compact package.
John Challen, Editor of Fleet World commented on the EV3’s award win: “The best of the best in a growing market. Kia continues to build on its impressive lineup of ‘EV’ models with this latest one emphatically meeting driver demands for range, spec and quality. The UK Car of the Year 2025 is also one of the best fleet cars of the year.”
The Kia EV9, the 2024 UK Car of the Year and 2024 World Car of the Year, was named ‘Best EV Large SUV’ for the second year running at the Great British Fleet Awards. Kia’s largest SUV offers fleet customers generous space of six or seven seats without sacrificing range, providing up to 349 miles on a single charge*.
“Last year’s winner of this category easily sees off competition from any newcomers, thanks to excelling with available driving range and quality. Drivers are also rewarded for the choice with plenty of interior space and the ability to seat seven in luxurious surroundings”, John Challen added.
Kia’s continuous success at the Great British Fleet Awards demonstrates how the brand meets a range of customer needs. Kia’s already strong all-electric model line-up has been strengthened by the addition of the EV3, and these prestigious awards prove Kia’s commitment to catering for fleet-focused customers. As well as providing fleet and business drivers with the Kia Business Service Promise, which delivers a host of business-customer advantages, Kia offers comprehensive fleet solutions, including via its Business Specialist Dealerships that are located across the country.
Exciting times lay ahead for Kia and fleets with the recent launch of Kia’s commercial vehicle PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) strategy. Kia PBVs introduce a new range of vehicles built from the ground up for the commercial vehicle market, starting with the PV5. Along with electric commercial vehicles, Kia is also set to launch a brand-new network of dedicated professional business van centres across the country, offering sales and after sales services to support customers quickly and efficiently.
The Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards are held every year, with accolades given out across around 40 categories to reveal the movers and shakers in the fleet industry, judged by the expert panel of Fleet World Group editors.
